About
Marketing Strategist & Startup Coach
Marketing belongs at the centre of business. A strategic discipline, present at the decisions that matter.
I'm a marketing strategist and brand advisor with roots in brand consulting. I work with established businesses that want to reconnect with what actually drives growth, and with startups building solid marketing foundations from the start.
My approach is deliberately slow: I focus on evergreen strategy, timeless principles, and what the research actually says about how brands grow. The aim is work that compounds: frameworks that hold up as platforms change and trends cycle through.
I host The Evergreen Playbook podcast, where I have long conversations with practitioners who think the same way: people with ideas that will still be relevant in ten years.
How I Work
These four ideas shape every engagement. A point of view on how good marketing actually works.
Marketing decisions should be grounded in evidence. The Ehrenberg-Bass Institute, Byron Sharp's work on how brands grow, and decades of academic research give us reliable frameworks to build on.
Most marketing is optimised for the next quarter. Sustainable brands are built on years of consistent positioning, distinctive assets, and genuine customer understanding.
The best theory is directly actionable. I translate research-backed frameworks into decisions you can make today, with a clear next step on the other side of every session.
Genuine customer understanding is the foundation of every good decision. Getting clear on who you actually serve, and why they care, is where strategy becomes useful.
